The Legacy We Leave our Children…

Forever Grateful

I’ve just spent the last ten glorious days in Maui witnessing the Haggai Institute’s Advanced Leadership program that prepares non-Western leaders for evangelism in third world countries. I was invited as a guest to observe the program and give my feedback about the process.

I expected to be a quiet observer of the sessions with little emotional investment in the program’s content. I thought I would go and sit and listen, and when asked, attempt to make intelligent recommendations regarding leadership training and communication. Since the 43 women participants are from  24 non-western countries, I thought I’d remain fairly detached from their personal lives and stories.

I’m forever grateful that I was very wrong. From the first day on site, I began seeing and feeling and experiencing what I soon realized to be the profound and undeniable spirit of God at work in this place and among its people.

I was witness to a process that enables Christian leaders from around the world to come together and learn advanced leadership principles of evangelism without getting distracted by denominational nomenclature. I watched women from China and Africa and South America, from the Philippines and Indonesia and Malasia, and from Rumania and Central America and India, to name a few, joyfully joined together by the love of Jesus the living Christ.

I listened to their stories of joy and thanksgiving, and of unbelievable struggles, and cried and laughed with them. I saw the face of God in every single one of them. I am a changed person because of them, and I will be forever grateful to them for the work they are doing in places around the world that westerners can no longer reach. I pray for their safety and strength as they return to their homelands.

God’s peace and love be with them.

SLC goes Coastal

Thanks for stopping by! Since the last remake of Sinclair Loeffler, much has changed! Bill and I have traded in city living and crazy schedules for coastal living, a more satisfying pace, and actual daylight for think time and creative pursuits. The beautiful oak trees you see above are the actual entrance to our new neighborhood. Beautiful, isn’t it?

We have decided that we are overdue for a new mission at Sinclar Loeffler, and an overhaul of our site. So, I hope you will check back soon to see what we are up to! If you’ll drop me an email at csl@sinclairloeffler.com, I’ll let you know when the site is live!

Exploring Inspired Living

Sinclair Loeffler [Coaching • Consulting • Communication] began in 1995 to help organizations remake themselves in a world of constant change.  We have helped a lot of people make some fairly significant changes, and now, the same holds true for us.

Since moving full time to the coast, I’m taking more time doing the things that inspire me… and the feeling that I’m getting from it cannot be replaced by any other kind of accomplishment. So, what I am witnessing is that when what I have achieved comes from something deep inside of me that inspires me, the satisfaction is lasting, and addictive!

So, look here for ways that I am finding those creative genes and putting them to use, and for tips on how you might do the same.

Sinclair Loeffler is Moving!

Now that WordPress has become such a robust platform for much more than blogging, we have decided to rebuild the official site using the new version of WordPress 3.0, which was just recently launched. While the “big” site is undergoing these changes, please contact us personally if you need to get in touch. You can contact us at (843) 706-9854, or email us.

Stay tuned for more announcements and hopefully, a much more enjoyable web experience at Sinclair Loeffler.
